Hitting Mat

A golf mat replaces real turf in your simulator, providing a realistic hitting surface for every club in the bag. Quality mats protect your joints and wrists from the repeated impact of hitting off a hard surface, while giving honest ball-turf interaction.

Mats differ in fiber type (nylon vs. polyethylene), pile density, backing material, and shock absorption. Premium mats use multi-layer construction: a hitting surface on top, a foam or rubber shock-absorbing layer in the middle, and a heavy rubber base. Some mats have multiple hitting zones (fairway, rough, tee) or integrate tee holders. Size matters for your stance and club path.

Single-Surface Mats

One consistent hitting surface. Simple, durable, and affordable. Good for dedicated iron practice or budget builds.

Multi-Zone / Multi-Surface

Different hitting areas mimicking fairway, rough, and tee. More realistic variety and better for full simulator use.

Premium Gel/Foam-Backed

Thick shock-absorbing underlayer that mimics real ground give. Best for joint protection during long practice sessions. Often have replaceable top surfaces.
